The Course
The PCI Course is a one day intensive programme targeted at cardiology advanced trainees and early interventional fellows who are interested in and performing both diagnostic and therapeutic coronary interventions. Hosted in 2021 by the cardiology department at Austin Health and supported by representative and speakers from the majority of local health networks in Victoria, it focused on practical, hands on experience with a structured lecture series. The course covers at a registrar to fellow level the evidence, procedures and techniques for performing diagnostic coronary angiography and coronary intervention.
The next course will be held in m 2023 and will also incorporate a CTO programme.
